I mentioned in the Chupacabra thread about PCI’s radio dash mounting system. So I thought I’d post what I’ve seen or know who is building dash mounting solutions for the H2. Why can’t these manufacturers figure this out and build this into their cars. Only the Speed UTV & Arctic Cat XX have factory locations for adding radios, intercoms, switch pro’s etc..

Here is PCI’s configuration. In theirs they moved the Garmin up around 2 inches.

Here is Rugged Radios configuration. With theirs you need to use the remote mount intercom that gets mounted behind the dash and you control it just from a switch.

And if you like or want to use a switch pad like a Switch Pro’s here is Switch Pro’s mounting solution that moves the intercom down below.

I’m told Stay Flush is working on something and he does very nice work.

Was just looking at the Rugged mount for a radio. Any reason why you chose PCI? I am not going to do the intercom in the car but still want to do the radio.

None of those pictures are of my cars. I posted these to show the different options out now.

If you’re not wanting an intercom, then the Rugged mount is probably the best for you.

Can I ask why you would not do an intercom? If you have not had one, it’s really a game changer.

Agreed they are game changers. I have had both PCI and Rugged intercom systems in a RZR 800, 800 4, 1000 non turbo, and S. They are great when they work but I find that they are quite buggy and hardly work. I am looking at doing Cardo in this car. Just waiting for them to get some better coverage for car to car.
