Here is a good long term review of the H2 at 2500 miles.

They seem to prove my theory that belt life is 1000x better on the hardpack. Kind of surprised the fuel mileage was not that great as it is similar to what I get in the dunes and seems to be way less than what Nick at Chupacabra got on his 400+ mile ride out in the desert.

Good news is they did not have any major issues in 2500 miles.

My mileage on desert trails and around the neighborhood is approximately 10 mpg. In the dunes it's about 6.5 mpg. This past trip it seemed a tad worse and I was occasionally smelling fuel, so was wondering if it was running rich. Thats the first time in rode dunes with a windshield and thought maybe that was trapping some fumes somehow.

I'm not sure how they are getting 2500 miles on an OEM belt and tires. You'd have to be way light on the throttle to get that done. My OEM tires are in decent shape, but I'll probably dump them at 1000 miles just to get some better desert tread.

Thank you for sharing this. Even with the stop sell/ride I'm very intrigued with this platform.

9-10mpg in the desert seems to be the range Nick at Chupacabra got on his 400+ mile desert ride. I have not hit the desert yes so no clue how the OEM tires will do. I am hoping more options for 35" tires for the 16" wheel start being available. I really liked my BFGs on my X3.

Does the windshield have any type of venting? Need some airflow to move the air out of the cab.

My windshield has venting at the bottom, but didn't seem to flow a lot. It definitely traps heat and you can feel the heat in the floor and center console. This is the first windshield I've ever installed on a sxs. I like it driving on the street for protection and its nice on cold mornings. I was tired of it in the dunes after first day cause of some reflection off the dash and at night it seemed like my light bar was putting light in the cab. Also didn't like the dust on the windshield. However, I did like that it kept sand out of my face.

Those windshields keep in a lot of cab heat. I am not a fan of them.

You just troll all the forums.
First it was polaris and now here.
Too bad you don't contribute anything useful.
Too bad I don't have a ban hammer here too.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm just showing interest in a SXS platform.
