Somewhere I saw a post referencing a clutch cover mod that made it easier to remove the cover for belt changes, etc. Pretty sure it was here, but I can’t find anything here or on YT. Anybody know of what I’m asking about? TIA

Wonder if they will offer ‘kits’ to us that have gone aftermarket or if we’ll have to reinstall the OEM clutch to get the ‘fix’?

Evo’s been good to me as well. Talked with them yesterday about the engagement RPMs and it’s just a main spring change. Going to give it a good run/test in a couple weeks before making any change if needed.

I’ve read about the front axle popping out issue (too small snap ring?) and I’m wondering what the trail side repair entails to get back to camp/ home? Just push it back in? Don’t run in 4x? Tools needed? Or? TIA

3000. I didn’t specify though. I did read through Evo’s (TAPP’s) install docs and will see how it works as is before any changes. I do think 2200 would probably work better for our type of riding however. I only ran the stock setup on my X3, so clutch ‘tuning’ is new to me.

Does the clutch need to be removed to inspect for cracks?

Haven’t even opened the box yet. I’m working on getting the IC cables and antenna lead routed along with any electrical before mounting the box. I ordered the ‘Recreation’. package with the car and it took about a month to come in.
