I can tell you the KWI clutch weights make a huge difference in throttle response and power delivery. Toole Motorsports puts the weights in the H2s they sell.
The KWI clutch weights felt like it woke up my H2.
I do not think it is from a lack of testing other than maybe in the dunes. Japanese companies do not just throw stuff out to the public and see what happens. The end user will always find something to break. Axles seems to be a rock bouncer/back east trail issue more than desert. Axles...
It is called an air diverter in the parts diagram. Another inlet onto the secondary would likely solve the problem.
Or maybe just some fins on the secondary catching the air from the bottom and circulating it around the secondary before it goes out the exhaust.
The Tapp clutches are nice. Curious to see what EVO has come up with so the cover can be used with the Tapp clutches.
I am taking my car to the dealer first week of February so they can look at my clutches and see what Kawi has to say. I am on belt 4 and I think I have an alignment issue...
Kawi has an air diverter that is in between the primary and secondary. It seems to be blocking the primary fins from directly throwing air onto the secondary. Looks like it can be removed. If so I may remove it and see what happens.
