Aftermarket accessories

I was in Sand Hollow Utah last year for UTV takeover and ran into a company called Elektric Offroad Designs. I could not believe how well everything was designed. At he time everything they showed me was a prototype on the H2. The fit and finish seemed unmatched. I have since purchased the Baja trunk (I am waiting for this to get here) and am wondering if anyone here have purchase anything from this brand? Did the fit and finish outside the prototype accessories come out as good? Also are there any other recommendations for aftermarket parts? I have installed DRT accessories on a friends Maverick R and was not impressed at all. Did DRT do a better job on the H2?

I have a Baja Trunk and the grill with camera mount coming from Elektric…
I was really considering the MacDermitt design storage box but this last weekends sale pushed me to the Elektric… I don’t think the Baja Box will be near as weather proof but we will see and I’m sure I can seal it up better if need be.

I wimped out and am sticking with the OEM low profile trunk. In fact almost all my accessories are Kawasaki. With the exception of the 5150 whip lights, fire extinguisher, air pumper, and com system.

I compared with aftermarket and am actually impressed with Kawasaki fitment and quality. It also helped to work with a dealer who is taking care of me with fair pricing and excellent service techs who drive and know what holds up and what doesn't.

I almost went that route but was just concerned with the internal volume, I have the Kawasak tail box on there now which I’ll be selling once the Baja Box is installed.

I have the OEM box and am happy with how much it holds. I also bought the DRT front & rear bumpers (in the process of installing along with other accessories).

While the fit/finish of the DRT stuff is good, I’m not impressed by the install instructions. In their install video they show some moderate plastic trimming for the front winch bumper, yet I’ve had to hack away a lot more plastic in order to mount the same winch (Warn Axon) they install during the video. No mention of additional trimming to fit the winch and the cutting gets pretty close to the plastic fascia mount points.

Haven’t started on the rear yet and hope it goes better.

I find a lot of the aftermarket accessory vendors do a piss poor job of providing install instructions. SSV Works being an exception with their turn signal kit along with RPM on their aux fuel tank.

I almost went with the Elektric bumpers, but I liked the DRT look better and had some of their stuff on my X3.

I am leaning towards the DRT bumper as well. I can seem to find an Elektric bumper without a light bar on it. I would love to see some pics when you are done.
