Hola everyone. FNG here. Trading in my Can Am X3 for the H2. Supposed to pick it up tomorrow.

I have an issue. For all the talk of "roomieness" in this machine, it's too short. I'm 6'4", but my height in in my torso... some kinda freak i guess.....

Anyway, I need more headroom. And a little more legroom won't hurt either. Strange, we have a KRX my GF drives and it has 2x or 3x more headroom than the H2. (????)

Austin at Razors Edge Design has a cool and cheap bracket to move the seat back a couple inches... but i also need to lower it.

I may need to buy aftermarket seats, but I've always believed aftermarket seats actually ADD, not reduce, height.

Aftermarket cage? Really don't wanna do that. Again most aftermarket cages lower the cage, not raise it.

I'm supposed to pick up my new H2 tomorrow, and I hate to NIX the whole deal for this.... but i may be forced to.

For all the reviews that chatter on about roomieness and comfort, I kinda find the seating postion awkward....a little too straight up. Footroom cramped, especially in boots. Headroom really limited due to the longitudinal bar a few inches to the right of the driver's head. Descent legroom tho.

Ideas?

Thanks

Herschel

Thanks. I saw that. I'm having a little trouble envisioning what that does. There's a plastic dead pedal on the left built into the floor and sidewall plastics.

This product goes next to that existing dead pedal?

I tried looking up the install instructions, but the dont have any.

Thanks

If you have the fab skills or know someone that can do some fab work you should be able to lower the stock drivers seat an 1" or so.

Aftermarket seat will likely raise the seat height 1"-2". Aftermarket cages usually are few inches lower than the stock cage.

Razor Edge Design has a simple kit to move the seat back about 2 inches. It's pretty cool. Talked to the guy that owns it this morning.... Austin. Good ole southern boy! Good guy!

I've made some inquires about getting a seat slider rail delete kit. That would gain about 1 1/4 inch.

I just chatted with Nick at Macdermid (the manufacturer of that dead pedal kit above) and he seems interested in fabbing a slider delete kit. I'll definitely be getting their dead pedal kit.

I'm really a bit stunned.... because the krx has TONS of headroom. But the H2 is pretty cramped, imo.... even though almost every online review I watched the reviewers talked about how roomy the cabin is.

I might just be overthinking this.....
