stock primary clutch wear

I took my primary off this weekend to have a look. I noticed on the towers some very unusual wear. The buttons were grooving in way more than they should. The was a decent amount of play that allowed for the spider to twist and not ride straight up and down. This is likely part of the reason the clutches would get hot and smoke belts.

Below are pictures of the same tower (right and left side) You can see the excessive wear.

Yep, I've seen some others with similar wear. I think there are multiple issues with this clutch that appear to be due to poor manufacturing and materials. That's why there's so many different results from customers.This is just a giant CF and I'll bet Kawasaki has looked at enough of the to know there are many deficiencies.
