I’m looking to lower my engagement by changing the primary spring (green).
Since I’ve never done this, I have some Qs.
1st: Does the clutch need to come off to change the spring?
I saw a YT vid where I guy changed a spring on a snowmobile by holding it on with one hand while removing the last bolt. Wasn’t a TAPP though.
2nd: If the primary needs to come off, I presume I’ll need to use the TAPP (or equivalent) primary base tool to remove the cover?
3rd: Or could I remove the primary bolt, thread the removal tool in with whatever sockets/washers I’d need to use as spacers to hold the cover and remove the cover bolts and spring?
New primary bolt required?
TIA
