Looks like Kawasaki made the clutch recall official. Like i expected, it doesn't seem to do much in the way of improving performance, perhaps not even reliability since they are including a "guard". With the ECU reflash, may even get reduced performance......LMFAO......we took it in the shorts!

Here's the parts list for the repair. Looks kinda janky.....not sure what that flimsy guard would do in the event of a failure. It should have been a beefed up unit mounted off the frame outside the CVT cover.

Yeah, I saw this too and I just talked to my dealer. They said that the replacement kits are already on back order.

I'm not sure I'll even waste my time with it now. I'll see what the actual results are with performance.

Gonna see if I can get clarity about my aftermarket warranty. Want to make sure it doesn't affect that.

Think I will stick with my Tapp setup, but wondering if the guards inside the cover will help with not destroying the cover every time a belt breaks. Also wondering if it will interfere with the tapp clutches

In my experience, belts destroy the CVT cover near the secondary or rear of CVT cover. This just looks like a feel good kind of hack fix cause they don't trust the primary to keep from coming uncunted again!

It looks like a whole replacement cover and there is a guard all the way back if im looking at picture correctly?
