Packard Bigfoots 34" with front steer tires. KWI clutch kit and about to add a Tapp secondary that I bought from Evo at the Sand Show. No suspension work yet. Debating between a spring kit or the full deal. In the dunes I find the front suspension on the soft side.

Your video at St. Anthony's was good. The clutch cover looks interesting.

Nice setup! I love those Packards! I had full MTS suspension done and the soft is "very" soft and suitable for trail riding but for duning I had it at "firm" the entire time and never bottomed out so highly recommend the Full deal. Clutch cover should be released in about a week or less so stay tuned.

I am in firm 99% of the time in the dunes. The rear of the car never bottoms out and in firm. Just the front likes to scoop some sand. Part of it is I am just hitting transitions a lot faster than my X3 and part is the front spring set up is too soft for my driving style. Out in the desert (Barstow area) the stock suspension worked incredibly well. If I do shocks it would not be with MTS. I have driven different SXSs with MTS suspension. Either SDG (they are top of the food chain as far as suspension work) or Schmidty Racing Suspension is where I would go. I had a good conversation with Schmidty at the Sand Show and I like the things they are doing. I am just start with a spring package from either of the shock tuners and go from there.

Can't wait to see that clutch cover.

My first run at the dunes in my H2 I hit the nose at the bottom of the dune so hard I covered two cars behind me in sand. I was just thinking it was because it has a nose on it. My X3 really didn’t have one. Thought about just raising the ride heights a little.

I raised the ride height on my in the front as it was a little low. I just think the front end springs are too soft. Part of the issue is you can carry so much more speed in the dunes with the H2 versus the X3. The H2 is so smooth and you don't get tossed around like in a X3.
 
RPM exhaust, EVP intake, Full Tapp clutches, RPM clutch fan, Packard Bigfoot and stitch fronts, CSK intake scoops, and MTS full suspension with bypass tubes. The MTS tune and spring ride is insane! Feels like a plush trophy truck in the dunes that never wants to bottom out. Best money spent.
